Most Used Programming Languages

Programming language is a language used as an intermediary of communication between humans and computers. When someone makes a program, he needs an interpreter to be able to give commands to the computer. Without a programming language, humans will have difficulty understanding binary languages that only consist of the numbers 1 and 0.

For that, a programming language was created. Just like human language, programming languages also vary. And here are the most popular programming languages.

1. HTML

HTML stands for Hypertext Markup Language. HTML is a standard markup language commonly used by programmers to display a document in the form of a website. HTML elements will usually be written with angle brackets, for example to <p> display a text in the form of a paragraph to the website without displaying <p> the HTML tag.

2. CSS

With CSS, you can specify the color of the text, the type of font, and the type of background to be used. CSS was created by the Word Wide Web Consortium (W3C) in 1996.

3. Python

Python is a programming language widely used in web applications, software development, data science, and machine learning (ML). Developers use Python because it is efficient and easy to learn and can be run on multiple platforms. Python software can be downloaded for free, integrates well with all types of systems, and increases the speed of development.

For those of you who master this programming language, you have the potential to become a requirement for the position of software engineer, back and developer, and Python programmer.

4. Java

This language is mostly used in mobile application development, software, and large system development.

Java is often widely used on the Android operating system because this language is very flexible, and can be run through any platform that supports Java. That’s why Java has the motto “Write once, run anywhere”

5. Javascript

This language is a type of computer language used to create sites with dynamic website content. That’s why JavaScript is the most popular programming language.

Usually, javascript is used to build interactive websites or enhance the appearance of the website. Such as displaying pop-up alerts, animated graphics, and prompt boxes on the website.

6. C++

C++ is widely used in VR, software and game development, robotics, and scientific computing industries. However, for those of you who are just entering the world of programmers, this language may be difficult to learn because C ++ has complex syntax and many rather complicated features.

7. PHP

(source: www.freecodecamp.org)

Hypertext Preprocessor or PHP is one of the open-source scripting languages widely used by Web Developers for Web development. PHP is widely used to create many projects such as Graphic Interface (GUI), Dynamic Websites, and others.

Examples of websites and frameworks used using PHP are WordPress, Facebook, Wikipedia, laravel, Codeigniter, and others.

So that’s some of the most frequently used programming languages. Which one do you wear more?

Hope it helps.
